I have been working with the folks over at BestHomePro.com. They have put together an excellent search solution. Their latest revision includes Microsoft Visual Earth maps - gorgeous maps which are easy to navigate, scroll, zoom in/out, etc.
The search tool provides an intelligent system which provides a Top 10 list based on parameters you set. Any time another home pops up that is better then a home on the top 10, it updates the list (in priority order!) and notifies you. Brilliant!

I’ve never really understood how people can search the MLS for free - is in this one reason to get a realtor for Raleigh real estate http://www.real-estate-raleigh.org ? Either that or if people have access to the MLS in makes it easier for people to want to go ahead and buy a house?
