
From the News & Observer, the data storage company NetApp is looking to double the number of employees in the Triangle. A state committee voted to offer incentives in exchange for job creation, and investment in Research Triangle Park.
“These are very attractive, highly technical jobs with rather substantial salaries,” Commerce Secretary Jim Fain relayed on a conference call with some of the committee members.
